3M™ VHB™ Tape 4611 is a 1.1 mm thick dark gray double-sided acrylic foam tape. The acrylic adhesive on both sides bonds to a broad range of high surface energy substrates including metals, glass and easier to bond paints and plastics. The firm foam provides high foam strength and has high temperature resistance.
Applications
It is primarily used for demanding industrial, construction, and manufacturing applications that require high strength and temperature resistance.
Substrate Bonding: Adheres strongly to high surface energy (HSE) materials, including metals (aluminum, stainless steel), glass, rigid plastics, and painted surfaces.
Metal Processing: Parts that need to be bonded before undergoing paint-bake cycles or powder coating.
