3M™ 5952 VHB™ Tape
3M 5952 VHB is a 1.1 mm thick double-sided, pressure-sensitive acrylic foam tape. Designed to replace mechanical fasteners like rivets, screws, and welds, its unique viscoelastic foam core provides exceptional stress distribution and gap-filling capabilities on rigid and irregular surfaces.
Applications
Substrates: Bonds exceptionally well to plastics (polycarbonate, ABS), paints, powder-coated materials, metals (stainless steel, aluminum), and glass.
Industries: Widely used in electronics (bonding LCD screens and lenses), signage, transportation, and general manufacturing.
Features: Creates a permanent seal against moisture, water, and solvents; requires no curing or drying time.
