3M™ Fire Barrier Water Tight Sealant 3000 WT is a high-performance, ready-to-use, single component, neutral cure, non-slumping intumescent silicone sealant.
Application
Penetrants: Metallic pipes, non-metallic/plastic pipes, cables, busways, and HVAC ducts.
Constructions: Static construction joints (e.g., bottom-of-wall joints) and blank openings.
Approved Materials: Safe for use with CPVC piping, concrete, plasterboard, and wood.
Environments: Ideal for data centers, hospitals, and commercial buildings where moisture control, acoustic dampening (STC rating of 53), and smoke sealing are required.
Properties
Chemical :Neutral-cure silicone elastomeric paste.
Fire Stop: Up to a 4-hour fire rating.
Water Seal: Water-tight seal.
Color: Light gray with black flecks.
Shrinkage: Extremely limited shrinkage due to its high-solids formula.
